Last weekend was Victor's 3rd birthday! Can you believe it's been that long? I can't. He still feel like my baby... my little Poopy Macpooperson that we brought home from the hospital and were afraid to leave alone for even a second... *sigh* He's gotten so big! 35.5 lbs now and 36.5 inches tall. He's got greenish eyes like both Matt and I, his hair is getting darker every time we cut it, I think he'll be totally brunette by the time he's 4. He uses full sentences and repeats pretty much everything you say word for word (*whoops!*). He LOVES to help, no matter what it is I'm doing. Especially if I'm cooking though, he drags his chair over and yells, "I WANT TO HELP!" He loves to help measure things and stir them and eat them of course. As long as it's chocolate anyways, he'll help me cook potatoes and vegetables, eggs and all this yummy stuff and won't eat any of it, lol. He's still stuck in his pickiness but slowly I think we are starting to come out of it. I can't wait till the day we all sit down together and he will actually eat a taco with the rest of us.
His party was so much fun! I only invited a couple of people as we have a really small house and Victor gets overwhelmed with lots of people anyway. We had a Fire Truck party!
The Cake. It looks super awesome, right? I got the idea from Pinterest (shocker, I know). The icing was so runny when I started that I had to stick in the fridge for a couple hours to get it to firm up so I could even manipulate it. It looks better from far away. In case you can't tell, those are flames on the sides and the fire truck is putting it out, haha! I know, first cake decorating ever for me and it's not awesome. But victor LOVED it and that's all I care about!
Blowing out his candle. Daddy had to help :)
Again.
The amazing Fire Truck balloon. This thing was bigger than him!
That's how big it was, he was riding it. He LOVED that thing! Until he popped it. *facepalm*
Fire Truck favors. Behind them you can see the fire truck placemats with coloring poster on the back, we also had fire truck activity sheets with crayons and fireman themed paddle ball things. Each truck favor had play dough, a mini roller, a toy fire truck, a cookie cutter, crayons and fire man stickers in them. I got all this stuff for an awesome deal off birthdayexpress.com.
His present from us and from Grammy and Pop-pop (my parents) was a MegaBloxs play and go table. Amazing!
Both kids love it :)
Playing with his floor puzzle he got from Great-Grandma and Grandpa Meyers. He loves puzzles and is always begging to put one together!
And from our awesome online friend Vanessa, he got a Bob the Builder lunchbox with DVDs and some Melissa and Doug puzzles! Perfect! P.s. Vanessa, he's already lost one of the pieces and he's devastated, poor kid...
It was a great party! Victor had a blast with his buddy Isaiah and we got to sit around talking and eating good food and cake. Total Success!
