See how West Virginia is NEXT to Virginia? Yes, it really is its own separate state! I can't tell you how many people I've seen, back home or just out-of-state that say
"oh how do you like Virginia?"
and I say "Well, Virginia is ok, but I live in WEST Virginia."
"Oh... Isn't that just western Virginia?"
"No. No it's not."
It's a state people. I promise.
